The most powerful people in the agriculture industry?
Brand owners, marketing leads, and category supply chain leads at foodservice and grocery retail. The individuals who sit in these roles & on these teams have more influence on what happens upstream in the food system than almost anyone else, except maybe rule makers around government programs.
When decisions get made, it has ripple effects. Perhaps even more so when decisions get changed:

I've been thinking about what these announcements might mean for the future of claims-based animal protein. It starts with understanding supply chains and why these decisions are not made lightly, so should not be taken lightly.
