Where was BYND trading the day the producer lamented the "alt invasion"? As you so poignantly note, it's almost always about the long game.

Iโ€™m bullish animal protein also. Population and the wealth of the global population continues to grow.

The pandemic followed by tragic events in the Ukraine have the biggest โ€œinterrupterโ€ of recent times. Interrupts supply lines, trading blocks and JIT expectations that benefit mature commoditised markets and changes the value of things like food and security of it.

I enjoy your challenging newsletter down here in Oz with mostly the same challenges and opportunities as North America. Keep the juices flowing!! It keeps provoking my thoughts.

Will beef farmers/ ranchers be able to maintain margins with inflation in the US? It will be ok here in Australia but the bets are bigger so droughts will hurt more is my opinion. Same for the croppers
